You're throwing
away millions.

Not intentionally. Just systemically. Nextract turns the biomass already leaving your facility into multiple high-value ingredients — without disrupting a single line of your operation.

Patented technology

Unlock your biomass with next-generation supercritical CO₂ extraction.

Our patented process redefines how extraction is done. Supercritical CO₂ moves through five controlled pressure stages, separating molecules by mass and capturing each fraction cleanly—without solvents or additional steps.

And the timing is brutal. Volatility is not cyclical. It's systemic.

The shocks no longer arrive one at a time. They compound, overlap, and reset the operating environment every quarter. Stability isn't returning. The job now is to operate inside it.

Turn volatility into value.

What the next generation of operators does differently.

01

Build advantage while others retreat.

When margins tighten, most operators pull back. The ones that don't capture share.

02

Turn losses into exponential gains.

Your biomass is a recurring expense. The same stream, processed, becomes a recurring revenue line.

03

Place the bet that defines the decade.

Calculated risk taken now compounds. So does inaction.

04

First in, first to scale.

Early deployments compound. By the time the market catches on, the first movers are already entrenched.

How we unlock the value in your waste.

Pressure does the sorting.

One process. Five fractions.

Supercritical CO₂ enters the chamber under pressure. As pressure drops across five stages, molecules separate by mass — each fraction collected cleanly, without solvents, without additional steps.

A — FOUNDERS VERSION

Olaf Lee · Greg White
Olaf N. Lee & Greg White
Co-founders, SCO2 / Nextract Technology

For 50 years, the chemistry worked. The system didn't.

Supercritical CO₂ extraction has been understood since the 1970s. Clean. Solvent-free. Effective. The science was settled — but the economics weren't. Cycle times ran in hours. Throughput maxed at one or two tons a day. The systems demanded constant manual intervention.

So the technology stayed where it always had been: in pharma labs, in craft beer hops, in decaffeinated coffee. Boutique. Premium-priced. Unscalable.

Olaf and Greg looked at the same fifty-year-old constraint everyone else had accepted, and refused to. They re-engineered the chamber. They re-engineered the cascade. They re-engineered the math.

What used to take sixteen hours now takes fifteen minutes. What used to run at two tons per day now runs at fifty tons per hour. The chemistry didn't change. The system around it did.

B — TIMELINE VERSION

A 50-year wait, ended in 2024.

Supercritical CO₂ extraction has been the right answer since the 1970s. It just wasn't a feasible answer at scale — until SCO2 re-engineered the system around it.

1970s
sc-CO₂ discovered

Supercritical CO₂ extraction is invented and patented. Clean. Effective. Solvent-free. Limited to laboratory scale.

1980–2010
Boutique decades

Used in decaf coffee, craft beer hops, botanical pharmaceuticals. Premium ingredients, premium prices. Industrial scale remained out of reach.

2019
SCO2 founded

Olaf Lee and Greg White begin re-engineering the chamber and cascade architecture from first principles. The chemistry was settled. The system was the bottleneck.

2024
Industrial scale unlocked

Cycle time falls from 16 hours to under 15 minutes. Throughput rises from 2 tons/day to 50 tons/hour. The math finally works.
